Then in the afternoon from 2 to 5 I'll be participating in a workshop for aspiring picture book writers and illustrators.

Aspiring picture book authors and illustrators, this workshop is for you! Meet published picture book creators and learn about the process of getting your ideas and illustrations into print. The workshop includes an informal critique session with an industry professional. So far our author/illustrator guests include James Burks (Beep & Bah, Gabby & Gator), Candace Ryan (Ribbit Rabbit, Animal House), Ann Stampler (The Wooden Sword), Frans Vischer (Fuddles), Max Kornell (Bear with Me), and Micah Player (Chloe, Instead).

La Mesa Childrens Book Festival - May 20 10:00am to 4:00pm

Target Children's stage

This past weekend I read Beep and Bah on the Target Children's stage at the L.A. Times Festival of Books. It was my first time getting up on a stage and reading for a large group of people. I won't lie, I was a little nervous, but it went great. I had a lot of fun and everyone was so nice. Here's the video.

I've recently added a new page to my website where you can look around my studio. Using photshop's photo merge option I created a 360 degree picture of my work space. All you have to do is click on the thumbnail and you can see my entire studio and all of it's contents.
