Gabby and Gator get Animated!

It's show and tell time.

About a year ago I was contacted by a studio in the UK called Studio Distract. They told me they were interested in developing Gabby and Gator as a television show. A few more months of back and forth working out an agreement and here we are. Below there are two links. The first is to an animated Gabby and Gator promo video they put together. We would love if you took the time to watch it, like it, maybe even leave a comment on the YouTube page where it's hosted.

Then after that if you could go to the Gabby and Gator TV show Facebook page they set up and click LIKE and leave a comment that would be great too. The idea is to generate interest and get the word out before Studio Distract shops it around to the Networks. There are also some pretty cool stills on the FB page of Gabby and Gator modeled in the computer. I especially like the backgrounds they have created. They are fantastic.

A Reminder

I sometimes feel like what I do isn't important. That I'm not contributing anything worthwhile to the world. But then my friend tells me that she came home and asked her daughter what she was doing while she was out and her daughter said that she was drawing in her sketchbook just like Mr. Burks. Then she proceeds to show her all of her drawings including one of Beep. I'm honored that I was able to inspire her when I visited her class last Tuesday for career week. Art and creativity are so important in everything we do and sadly it's the first thing to go when they cut school budgets. So glad that I can give something back.

I just received the mini promo cards that I ordered from moo.com. I'm just over-joyed with how they turned out. From the print quality all the way to how they were packaged and delivered. I couldn't be happier. If you're looking to have some cards printed you might try using Moo. It inspires me when companies like this are taking that extra step to deliver a great product.

Unlike this little bird I still have some shopping to do. I just finished revising the latest version of the Monstore rough dummy. Now that I've got that out of the way I can do some last minute shopping. And if I can get my brain to cooperate maybe come up with some new book ideas.

Unfortunately for me there is only rain falling outside my door and I don't think a mud angel is quite the same. So here's a little bird making a snow angel for those of us without snow.
